A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild player has managed to kill a bird in the distance with a simple sword throw, completely by accident.
A Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild fan has managed to achieve the near-impossible by bringing down a distant bird simply by throwing their sword. Perhaps even more impressively, the player wasn’t intending to kill the bird, and instead was just clearing their BOTW weapon stash by getting rid of a nearly-destroyed Knight’s Broadsword.
Nintendo Switch’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is filled with lots of different types of creatures ranging from bugs collected for cooking, to tough enemies that need defeating by the hero, Link. Birds, horses, and dogs are just a few of the animals players can find throughout their journey through the lands of Hyrule and beyond, and while not all animals can harm a player, the player can choose to attack them if so inclined. It’s particularly tricky to attack and kill birds, as airborne birds are not only in constant motion, but are also very small targets. Not all of the animals encountered in Breath of the Wild can be killed.
