Though Mortal Kombat is mostly known for its Fatalities, MK11 has unique super-moves called Fatal Blows that rival Fatalities in terms of brutality.
NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat 11 followed in the footsteps of its predecessors by pulling no punches in the brutality department. Many attacks in MK11 can make someone wince just from seeing them, and the Mortal Kombat series’ new “Fatal Blows” are no exception. Some of them seem even more painful than the Mortal Kombat‘s iconic Fatalities.
Fatal Blows are something akin to Mortal Kombat X’s “X-Ray Attack” or a Super move from any other fighting game. Once a certain set of criteria are met, the player is able to pull off an incredibly damaging and stylish attack that is typically high risk, high reward unless it is used in the right situation. Most moves like this also take a large amount of some important resource to use. MK11’s Fatal Blows, however, are different.
