Olivia Munn Needs to Fight Her Inner Voice in ‘Violet’ Trailer

The directorial debut of Justine Bateman has been gathering positive feedback at festivals.

Relativity Media has released the trailer for Violet, the acclaimed directorial debut of Justine Bateman that has been impressing critics on the film festival circuit. Starring Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse) as a woman who needs to fight her inner fears, Violet will be premiering in New York and Los Angeles on October 29 before getting a wide theatrical release on November 5.

The trailer introduces us to Violet Calder (Munn), a woman haunted by an inner voice that constantly tries to make her feel bad about herself and her choices. This voice, brought to life by Justin Theroux (Maniac), materializes Violet’s fears and self-doubts. However, Violet is ready to change her life once she decides to do the exact opposite of what The Voice tells her to do. Violet's cast, in addition to Munn and Theroux, also includes Luke Bracey.
