Why has Roland Garros 2021 been delayed by a week?

The second Grand Slam of 2021 – Roland Garros – has been delayed by a week.

The Paris event will now be staged from May 30th to June 13th (ATP) due to “restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The two-week Slam is back in its usual Spring slot after being moved to the Autumn during a restructured 2020 calendar.
